Subjective Shot is a work in progress, a learning platform, a personal insight into contemporary art.
Inaugurating with Remind Me Where I Have Never Been, Subjective Shot is an online gallery committed to exhibit contemporary art in different media by emerging and established artists. I would like Subjective Shot to be part of a collective platform where artists and curators alike are excited to exhibit their work.
I graduated in Audiovisual Communication at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain) in 2006. After working for a national radio station in Peru as a playwright and literary assistant, I moved to London where I currently live and study. I have been in London since January 2007 and it was here that my passion for contemporary art bloomed. I worked before organising events and in a variety of roles within media and film production and I am currently undertaking the MFA in Curating at Goldsmiths College, supported by Fundación Marcelino Botín from Spain.
If you are an artist and would like to exhibit your work in Subjective Shot, please send through a statement of intentions and some samples or pictures of your work. I will be also happy to consider proposals from other curators who want to see their work exhibited online.
If you like any of the works you see exhibited in Subjective Shot and are interested in an artist or a specific work, please do not hesitate to get in touch and I will be pleased to assist you.
