Editorial Policy

The standards and principles that govern how we create, source, and publish all content.

Nature of Our Content

Subjective SHOT is an independent digital media channel producing cultural commentary, analysis, and educational content about public figures and the entertainment industry. Our work is not traditional news reporting. Content is created for informational, commentary, and educational purposes and should be understood as such.

We do not claim exclusive access to private sources, insider information, or confidential material. All published content is derived from publicly available information unless otherwise clearly stated.

Sourcing and Verification

We make reasonable efforts to verify factual claims prior to publication using publicly available sources. Where information is unconfirmed, contested, or subject to interpretation, we reflect this clearly in our language and framing. We do not present unverified claims as confirmed fact.

Opinion, Analysis, and Fact

Opinion and cultural analysis are clearly distinguishable from factual reporting across our content. Interpretive claims, editorial judgments, and commentary represent the views of the author and are not presented as statements of objective fact.

Coverage Standards

Our coverage focuses on the public roles and publicly documented conduct of public figures. We do not engage in rumour, deliberate sensationalism, or content designed to mislead. We do not knowingly publish false statements of fact about any individual or organisation.

Updates and Corrections

Articles may be updated to reflect new or corrected information. Material corrections are handled in accordance with our Corrections Policy. For editorial enquiries, contact [email protected].
